Launched in 2019, the start-up Nahibu aims to democratize gut microbiota analysis by enabling everyone to take action to improve their well-being and gut health. The gut microbiota test provides a comprehensive assessment of the gut flora and offers personalized nutritional recommendations for each microbiota. 

2021 has been a landmark year for Nahibu. The company has successfully positioned itself as the French and European leader in gut microbiota analysis.

Let's take a look back at the highlights of this year…

1- Nahibu's gut microbiota analysis kit is now available in pharmacies

Keen to make its gut microbiota analysis solution accessible to the general public, Nahibu's ambition was to distribute the kit in local pharmacies. And now it has! ✅

Since September 2021, the gut microbiota analysis kit has been available in certain pharmacies in France. These networks are a powerful lever for making gut microbiota testing more accessible. In addition to being a place of health, pharmacists can guide their customers towards products specific to their gut microbiota based on their results.

2- Launch of post-analysis consultations on gut microbiota

In order to offer a comprehensive solution to support our customers in their quest for well-being and gut health, we have set up post-analysis consultations. We wanted the experience of gut microbiota analysis to continue beyond the receipt of results. 

These consultations provide an opportunity to talk with our customers. They can identify the strengths and weaknesses of their microbiota. In addition, this exchange allows us to interpret certain results that are sometimes difficult to understand and provide personalized nutritional recommendations. 🙌

3- The leading network of health and wellness professionals trained in gut microbiota

Nahibu now has the ^leading network of health and wellness professionals trained in gut microbiota. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Nutritionists, dieticians, naturopaths, wellness coaches, and osteopaths work alongside Nahibu to provide our customers with optimal support in their quest for well-being. These professionals are trained in gut microbiota and Nahibu analysis. They are able to help customers understand their results. They can also recommend a personalized diet tailored to the needs of their gut flora.

These specialists see this as a real advantage in enriching their patient's journey. This analysis tool allows them to target and tailor their support.

4- Launch of a study on the gut microbiota of elite athletes

2021 saw the launch of a research project that is unique in the world. It is a study on the gut microbiota of elite athletes.  In partnership with the M2S laboratory, the Stade Rennais football team, and the Sojasun Espoir cycling team, the aim of this study is to understand the link between gut microbiota, athletic performance, and nutrition. 

This collaboration between stakeholders in Rennes will initially enable the complete mapping of the microbiota of athletes. Thanks to this assessment, they will be able to benefit from a 100% personalized nutritional program tailored to their gut flora. The analysis of their gut microbiota will also be relevant for improving their energy and endurance qualities.

Nahibu's long-term goal is to develop gut microbiota analysis kits for high-level athletes. 🔬

5- A new results platform with over 100 partner products listed 

As you may have noticed, this year the results platform has been given a makeover! This new version is more concise and graphic. Our solution is evolving to provide a user experience that meets our customers' expectations. 😉

In addition, we have listed more than 100 partner products on our personalized nutrition platform Nahibu. It provides personalized dietary advice for each microbiota after analysis. This algorithm targets foods, superfoods, and dietary supplements to consume, moderate, or avoid. 🍎 Each of these has an impact on one of the functional modules of the microbiota: Digestion, Immunity, Sleep, Stress, Physical Abilities, Cognitive Abilities. 

This gives our customers direct access to products that will benefit them.
